The tenor Daniel Schreiber was born in Neustadt an der Weinstraße in 1979. He won several prizes in the "Jugend musiziert" competition at an early age. He first studied school music (majoring in organ) at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Stuttgart. In the summer of 2001, he began his vocal studies with professors Bruce Abel and Francisco Araiza.
Outstanding vocal ability paired with exemplary sensitivity makes Daniel Schreiber a much sought-after artist both as a soloist and as an ensemble singer. For many years he was a regular guest with the radio choirs of the Südwestrundfunk and the Bayerischer Rundfunk. He has been a member of the male vocal ensemble "The Lords of the Chords" since its foundation. Since 2009 Schreiber has been a permanent member of the Munich male vocal ensemble "Die Singphoniker".
In addition to a variety of appearances as a lieder and concert singer throughout Germany, guest contracts took him to the Stuttgart State Opera, where he performed in Steve Reich's "Dolly" and as "Barabaschkin" in Shostakovich's "Moscow Cheryomushki".
Other tasks in 2022 include oratorio concerts, CD recordings (including with the Capricornus Ensemble Stuttgart), recitals and concerts with the Singphoniker.
